What is a digital time capsule?
A digital time capsule is a sealed collection of content — letters, photos, audio, video, documents — that stays encrypted and inaccessible until the release condition you set is met. Recipients are then invited to a dedicated portal where they can view the contents, no account required.

How is a digital capsule different from a scheduled email?
A scheduled email just goes out. A capsule stays encrypted until release, verifies who is accessing it, keeps a log of every opening, and can be revoked before release. It can also open on inactivity, not just on a fixed date.
Do recipients need a save-me.ai account?
No. They receive an invitation with a personal link and access a dedicated portal, using a verification code sent to their email or a password you handed them.
Can I use capsules for business, say a product launch?
Yes. Seal press kits, price lists, documents or instructions and set the date and time they become accessible: all recipients get access at the same moment, and every opening is logged.
What if I change my mind after sealing a capsule?
Until the capsule is released you stay in full control: you can unseal it to edit its contents and seal it again, or revoke it entirely — recipients will receive nothing. It only becomes unchangeable after release, once a recipient accesses it for the first time.
How does release on inactivity work?
You set a number of days. If you show no activity for that period, the system verifies your absence before releasing the capsule, so a simple holiday doesn't trigger it.
Is delivery legally certified, like registered mail?
No — a capsule doesn't replace legally certified notification channels. It does give you concrete traceability: verified recipients and an access log with date and time, useful as evidence that delivery happened.
