What an AI alter ego is
AlterEgo AI is a conversational representation of your personal memory: it answers from the memories, values and way of speaking you have chosen to entrust to save-me.ai. It is not a copy of a person and does not try to replace one — it is a voice consistent with your perspective, always identified as artificial intelligence.
Your alter ego builds its understanding of you only from the content you make available to it, and uses that as context when it answers: your content is never used to train artificial intelligence models. Anything you edit or delete stops being available.

Tell your story
You talk to save-me.ai the way you would talk to someone who genuinely wants to know you: your history, the people who matter, the moments you do not want to lose. You can write, record your voice, upload photos and documents, or import conversations you have already had elsewhere.

It knows only what you choose
Your alter ego builds its understanding of you exclusively from the information you have authorised. Every memory carries a confidentiality level, and whatever you keep to yourself never enters a conversation.

You decide who, and when
You can talk to your alter ego from day one. And it is you who decides whether to make it available to anyone else, to whom and at what moment: to a person you have chosen, alongside a digital capsule, on the conditions you set.

It was a rainy Tuesday. She had a red umbrella and I had nothing. I ducked under it without asking, then made a terrible joke about the weather. She did not laugh. She bought me a coffee anyway, and we stayed in there until the rain stopped.
The conversation with your alter ego is declared as generated by artificial intelligence, even when it speaks in the first person: whoever talks to it always knows they are interacting with an artificial intelligence. It is a principle we hold to before it is a legal duty — we explain it in our ethics document.
Why it is not a generic chatbot
A generic assistant answers everyone the same way. Your alter ego starts from you.
Your values
What you believe and the criteria behind your decisions are part of the context: they exist to produce answers consistent with your perspective rather than a statistical average.
Your memories
Episodes, places, dates and tiny details you told it yourself. They are the raw material behind an answer like the one in the example above.
Your relationships
Who the people who matter are and what place they hold in your life. Without that, a generic assistant would not even know who you are talking about.
Authorised content only
Your alter ego does not gather anything elsewhere on its own: only what you made available enters a conversation. You define the perimeter, memory by memory.
Always declared as AI
Your alter ego is never presented as though it were truly the person who created it: anyone talking to it knows they are dealing with an artificial intelligence.
It remains a generative artificial intelligence system: it can be wrong, oversimplify or reconstruct a memory imprecisely. That is why the conversation is always declared as AI-generated, and its answers should not be treated as an infallible source.
Control and privacy
Your alter ego lives inside a perimeter you define, and can change at any time.
Authorised content only
Your alter ego draws exclusively on what you decided to make available to it. Your alter ego does not go and collect content from other sources on its own: nothing enters without a choice of yours.
Confidentiality levels
Every memory and every piece of information can be normal, private or confidential. The level decides how far that content can travel, and the most protected content stays out of what other people see.
Editing and deletion
You can correct or delete memories and information whenever you want. Whatever you delete stops being used by your alter ego.
Encryption
Sensitive content is encrypted field by field with AES-256-GCM, attached files live on a dedicated volume encrypted at block level and not exposed to the network, and backups are encrypted too.
GDPR rights
DreamersWare S.r.l.s. is the data controller. You can access your data, export it, correct it and close your account: the content stays yours.
No model training
Your content is not used to train artificial intelligence models, ours or anyone else’s. It exists to make your alter ego work, for you.
